Satellite and space technology is increasingly being used to increase the productivity of agricultural systems to meet the food requirements of a world population predicted to reach more than 9 billion in 2050. However the three sectors do not talk to each other.

Satellite is seen to be able to support precision farming, deliver meteorological data to enable farmers & other stakeholders the ability to prepare for weather inconsistencies.
We wrote and distributed press releases to food, agriculture and space publications and bloggers. We sent mailshots to selected databases that we had created.
We Identified key organisations on Twitter and followed – tagging organisations with Global geographic messaging that linked to statistical evidence, reports and video.
Predicted attendance of 23 was increased to over 150 key player attendees.
